Join the PA Flax Project to celebrate the Wyck House’s historic rose garden!
Field Day at Cedar Meadow Farm
Join the PA Flax Project team on a field of growing flax! We will be discussing our plans for a mill, answering questions about growing fiber flax, and demonstrating how flax goes from crop to spinnable fiber.
Wyck’s Second Saturday Preservation Workshop: Exploring Linseed Oil Paint
This event is organized in collaboration with Wyck, Heritage Conservation Collective, Earth and Flax, and The Association for Preservation Technology - Delaware Valley Chapter.

For the Common Good Docuseries Launch
Join the PA Flax Project at Colonial PA Farmsted as part of the launch of For the Common Good: The Women Who Shaped Our Nation, a docuseries that uncovers the powerful stories of nine pioneering Pennsylvania women that made significant contributions to the founding of our nation.
Our 2025 Square Yard is featured in the docuseries!

The PA Flax Project has been hosting hand processing events at the historic Wyck house since 2022! This is particularly special because flax crop grew in their garden back in the 18th century.

The Museum for Art in Wood hosted us for the first time in 2025, and it was so much fun, that we’re coming back again!

Field Day at NCSU
Come learn about fiber flax! The NC State Alternative Crops Program in partnership with the PA Flax Project is hosting a fiber flax field day! We will discuss fiber flax production, harvest, and end use.
This is a free event but attendees must register to participate!
The event will be held at the Cherry Research Farm and is outdoors so please dress accordingly (e.g., closed-toe shoes, hat, bring sunscreen and bugspray). Rain date is May 15th.
