Join us every other Friday to make our “square yard quilt”.

This inclusive art and education program is open to all. Our studio sessions are informal sessions where you can learn and share new skills towards transforming flax into linen, design and construct a large textiles built of many parts to tell a story.

Together we’ll create and envision our “square yard quilt”. An abstract art ‘quilt’ telling the story of our journey to grow flax here and in collaboration with our friends at Journeys in Design in Scotland.

Studio sessions may include weaving, flax processing, spinning, hand sewing, and natural dyeing. Come as many times as you like.

Your fees help us pay for studio space and materials. Please contribute as generously as you are able.

Kitchen Garden Textiles is hosting these events in their studio at the Crane Arts Building.
